Meet artist of the week, David de las Heras
Madrid based illustrator David las Heras received his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and graduated in the cycle of Illustration of the Escola Massena in Barcelona, Spain. His paintings have been exhibited in a number of countries around Europe while his book illustrations have been published by Penguin Random House.
David has also specialized in book cover illustration, has worked with a number of local newspapers and has had his work displayed in different cities around Spain. His paintings are incredibly lifelike and detailed, portraying a feeling of delicacy and softness. Thematically, David explores both portraits and vast landscapes, further expanding his versatility as an artist.
